What moves the rate

The honest rate conversation.

Four factors set a specialist's rate: seniority, scarcity of the profile, engagement length and production responsibility. As public context: Dutch IT detachering averages roughly €65–150 per hour (ITRC, 2026), and Dutch freelance AI consultants quote €800–1,500 per day (SearchX, 2026). Direct nearshore placement typically lands well below comparable local seniority — the margin normally consumed by agency stacks simply isn't there.

What's always included

Employment and payroll by Probegin (you stay clear of DBA classification risk), the 60-day trial period, replacement guarantee from the network, one Dutch counterparty and one invoice. Scaling up or down is a conversation with reasonable notice — not a penalty clause.
